OFFSHORE

Our coastal marine environment offers many unique opportunities for visitors to explore and learn about our diverse tropical marine life.  From the mangroves to sea grass beds to our coral reef, a day spent at sea in Belize is a memorable experience!

Scuba Diving

Daily dive trips are scheduled to the Belize Barrier Reef, Hol Chan, Turneffe Atoll and Lighthouse Atoll.  We select our most favorite sites to dive where we see colorful coral and fish and larger marine life like rays, turtles, dolphins and sharks!

Snorkeling

Snorkeling trips to the Belize Barrier Reef  and Hol Chan Marine Reserve are available daily.  There is also excellent snorkeling at Lighthouse Reef at Half Moon Caye.  We also combine snorkeling and diving on the same boat!

Wildlife Encounters

These trips are great for families where we get to explore riverine and marine ecosystems and the endangered Antillean manatees that relies on these environments.  A variety of options are available depending on your interests.

Fishing

There are many different types of fishing available in Belize.  Anglers can choose from reef fishing, flats or river fishing.

Kayaking

Exploring the coastal marine ecosystems in Belize is a great way to become one with nature.  In the mangrove channels you can see starfish, stingrays, upside jellyfish and may encounter manatees, crocodiles or dolphins!

INLAND

Our tropical terrestrial ecosystems are equally diverse.  In one day you can travel from pine savanna to mountainous tropical rainforest.  The Maya constructed large temples which offer amazing views of the countryside. Extensive cave systems, abundant bird and wildlife will greet you along the way!

Jungle River Canoeing

Canoe racing is a big sport in Belize, but paddling slowly up river is also very enjoyable since there is so much wildlife to see including iguanas, tropical birds, crocodiles and even manatees and dolphins!

Maya Ruins

Belize was once an important part of the ancient Maya empire and supported one million people.  Many cities flourished along inland waterways, and important sea trading routes also traversed the coast.  Sites include:
  • Altun Ha
  • Caracol
  • Lamanai
  • Xunantunich

Cave Tubing

A unique trip in Belize is Cave Tubing through the Caves Branch River which winds in and out of the earth.  Carry your own tube up the jungle trails and learn about medicinal plants and see Maya milpas, or farms.  At the river you will hop in your tube, don headlamp and float down the river in and out of the cave system.
