2 Tank Belize Barrier Reef Dive

Tropical seas - turquoise greens and blues - and warm sun.  Underwater the colorful corals and vibrant fish and other unique coral reef creatures greet you along your dive on the drop-off of the Belize Barrier Reef!
What's so Special?
You'll be diving on the Belize Barrier Reef, the largest in the Northern Hemisphere and second only the Australian Great Barrier Reef!   The dive sites are close and there are many excellent dive sites to choose from where we regularly see turtles, rays, sharks and of course many different types of colorful fish and corals. This is our most popular trip.

Hawksbill turtles are the most common sea turtles on reefs in Belize and can often be observed grazing on their favorite food, sponges!

Dive Sites

We'll visit two dives sites between St George's Caye and Goff's Caye and usually have lunch on a little island between dives.  Where we go each day depends on the weather and sea conditions.  These dive sites are good for beginners or advanced divers.  Usually there is no current and the drop-off  to the wall begins at 40 feet which leads to a sandy bottom at 100 feet, or gently slopes down to 1000+ feet.  We recommend multilevel dives 60 ft for 20 minutes and 40 ft for the balance of the dive and a safety stop for 3 minutes between 15-20 feet.

Divemasters will lead the dives and point out interesting marine life.

If you've not been diving in the past two years we recommend signing up for a refresher.  Divers from any training agency can sign up.  You'll need completed the eLearning in advance, and if possible the confined water session before coming to Belize, or we can complete this before the dives.
