St. George's Caye
John used to spend the summers out here at St. George's Caye and has many great stories to tell! Every chance we get we spend our time here. St. George's Caye is less than 30 minutes from Belize City so convenient to reach!
In the 1700 and 1800s St. George's Caye was the capital of Belize and was renowned for its cool sea breeze. Today we enjoy the relaxing island life where you can explore, swim, fish, dive, snorkel, swing in a hammock or just relax by the sea!
St. George's Caye is how Belize used to be. There are no shops, nor tvs, but there are cell phones and even internet. But we hope if you decide to come and enjoy St. George's Caye you'll try to give these up while staying with us and just enjoy the island life!
There are many private homes for business owners from Belize City and Cayo who spend the occasional weekend and holiday on the island. Easter is the biggest holiday in Belize and many people spend a week here at this time.
