If your coming to Belize on a cruise ship then you
have come to the right place for scuba instruction.
Sea Sports Belize has the most qualified staff in
Belize that you will do your training with! We have
on staff 2 PADI Course Directors (these guys train
the instructors), 3 PADI IDC Staff Instructors
(capable of training assistant instructors) and
several PADI Divemasters (guides that lead dives
and assist with training).
Most cruise ship passengers that train with Sea
Sports Belize are either doing two of the four Open
Water Training Dives that are required to complete
Open Water Diver Course, or are looking to try
diving and sign up for the PADI Discover Scuba
Diving Course.
Open Water Referral Dives
We can do 2 of your referral dives at the same day
we take out other divers. The first 15 minutes of the
dive we will do some of the same skills you did in
confined water training back home. The rest of the
dive we will explore the reef along with the other
divers. So if you have a certified buddy you can
dive together!
PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course
Sea Sports Belize offers an extensive introduction
to scuba diving. The class includes a brief
knowledge development session, confined waters
skills practice and a dive to 40 feet. This dive is
done at the same time the certified divers do their
second dive so if you are travelling with certified
divers you will be able to explore the reef together
with them.
